Frequently asked questions
I'm not very familiar with Gerflor's product ranges and I need some help choosing the right product

- The room that you wish to decorate or renovate
- Your favourite type of design: graphic, textile, wood, concrete, etc.
- The colour that would best suit your intended decoration
I want to change my floor but I don't know which one to choose. I'd like a clearer idea by adding examples of Gerflor's floors to a photo of my room.

I've got a question after I've bought my product
You can contact the store directly where you purchased your Gerflor floor.
Why is it important to recycle PVC flooring?
PVC flooring is a durable and versatile material that is widely used in various sectors, such as health care, education, retail and hospitality. However, it also generates a significant amount of waste every year, especially in Australia, where around 60,000 tonnes of PVC flooring end up in landfills annually. Out of this amount, 9,000 tonnes are unused or off-cuts that could have been recycled. ResiLoop is a project that aims to create a circular economy for PVC flooring by collecting, processing and reusing this valuable resource.
How do Second Life and ResiLoop differ from each other?
Both Second Life and ResiLoop are recycling schemes that aim to collect and reuse “clean” floor laying off-cuts. The main difference is that Second Life is a European initiative that involves a partnership between the flooring industry (including Gerflor) and Paprec, a recycling company that operates the Floor to Floor recycling centre. ResiLoop, on the other hand, is an Australian innovation that is the first of its kind in the country.
Can I bring my flooring installation leftovers to ResiLoop?
ResiLoop is currently undergoing final testing and will be fully operational by the end of 2024. Gerflor, as a pioneer member of the scheme, will actively support this initiative once it is launched.
Does my Gerflor product have recycled PVC in it from either scheme?
Most Gerflor products contain recycled PVC from the Second Life scheme, however it will not contain material from the ResiLoop scheme. The recycled material from ResiLoop will be reserved for local projects here in Australia.
